HELENA, Mont. — [Aug. 18] — ɫƵ, the nation’s fastest-growing construction-technology and equipment-rental company, today joined Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte to celebrate the opening of the company’s first Montana branch, located in Helena, MT. The ribbon-cutting ceremony kicks off the company’s four-location expansion, representing a more than $81 million investment that will add 82 new jobs across the Treasure State.

Held at ɫƵ’s new Core Solutions facility in Helena located at 1500 Blaine St., the ceremony featured remarks from Gianforte and ɫƵ leadership. The company highlighted its commitment to Montana’s economic growth and workforce development, noting its plans to significantly increase its footprint and investment in the state in the coming years.

“When we welcome companies like ɫƵ to Montana, we unlock jobs and innovation to make our state and construction industry stronger,” Gov. Gianforte said. “It’s great to help cut the ribbon on the first of four facilities across Montana and celebrate a significant investment that is sure to build a stronger future.”

“Our mission is to make construction safer, more productive and more secure — community by community,” said Jabbok Schlacks, co-founder and CEO. “Launching in Helena and expanding across Montana allows us to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the contractors who are quite literally building the state’s future. This is also another critical step in ɫƵ’s nationwide expansion, putting our proprietary T3 platform in the hands of more contractors at a pivotal moment for the construction industry.”

ɫƵ’s four new Montana locations — Helena, Kalispell, Great Falls, and Billings — will serve contractors across the state with Core Solutions for general rental needs. The Billings location will also offer Advanced SolutionsTM for complex pump, power and climate-control projects. All fleet assets connect through ɫƵ’s T3 platform, providing contractors real-time visibility, predictive maintenance, and rapid on-sites support to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.

With more than 330 locations nationwide and plans to reach over 700, the new Montana sites advance ɫƵ’s long-term growth strategy. This expansion extends the company’s T3 smart-fleet technology, safety-driven security features and productivity-boosting service model to more jobsites, accelerating industry transformation one project at a time.

“Montana is growing fast, and we’re proud to be here to support the builders behind that momentum,” said Charles Dodd, general manager of ɫƵ’s Helena branch. “With our technology, modern fleet and a boots-on-the-ground service mindset, we’re ready to help contractors across the state tackle the toughest jobs and keep projects moving forward. This is just the beginning.”

Stuff the Bus Campaign check

As part of the company’s philanthropic commitment to the communities where it operates, ɫƵ will allocate $2,500 in revenue annually across each of its Montana locations to support local nonprofits. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the company announced that a portion of the Helena funding will be donated to The Angel Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children in the Helena School District with essentials such as clothing and school supplies. It is also allocating a portion of its revenue to support TACTICS (Training and Coaching Technical Industrial Construction Skills) for its annual Digger Days — an event for area youth interested in the trades.

“This gift from ɫƵ for our Stuff the Bus campaign will help so many students in the greater Helena-area,” said Janet Riis, Executive Director of The Angel Fund. “The Angel Fund hopes to support over 1,400 students in Helena and East Helena this August and this will help us reach our students in need of school supplies so they can start school on a level playing field. We cannot thank ɫƵ enough.”

About T3

ɫƵ outfits its fleet with durable tracking hardware that’s connected to its high-powered technology platform, T3™, to give contractors visibility into their jobsite and accelerate productivity. Rental customers can access important fleet, personnel and jobsite information to manage teams, meet safety compliance, reduce machine theft and analyze digestible and dynamic fleet data. The tracking hardware can also record data to help contractors monitor equipment utilization, GPS location, fuel usage, maintenance history and upcoming service for each asset. ɫƵ’s fleet management technology solutions notify service managers and technicians when a machine is approaching or past due on maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition, and prevent breakdowns which lead to downtime — a major pain point for the construction industry.
