You may be eligible to avoid prosecution for some crimes even though you are guilty and the prosecutor can prove it! If you have no prior criminal record and you are charged with an offense that qualifies, then you may apply for Pretrial Diversion. You must first complete an Application for Pretrial Diversion. the application must be completed thoroughly and must contain accurate information as it will be reviewed in great detail by the District Attorney prosecuting your matter and possibly by the Judge.
Pretrial Diversion allows that prosecution of the matter be suspended and the defendant is placed on a period of probation. After successful completion of this period the matter can be expunged from your criminal record.
If you have had a matter that was retired, dismissed or plead to under Pretrial or Judicial Diversion, you may contact the attorneys at Brasfield and Milazo, P.C. Attorneys at Law to discuss removing the arrest from your criminal record.
